Export of Electricity from Uzbekistan Rises 59% in First 10 Months
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan increased its electricity exports in the first 10 months of 2025, according to the National Statistics Committee.
The country exported electricity worth US$129.7 million from January to October, a rise of 58.7% compared with the same period in 2024.
At the same time, electricity imports fell 13.7% to US$88.6 million.
Domestic power generation grew 3.78% over the period, reaching 69.23 billion kilowatt-hours, up from 66.71 billion kilowatt-hours in the same period last year.
