Export of agriculture products discussed in Tashkent

It was attended by representatives of state bodies and companies, producers, exporters, etc. The event was aimed at revealing problems, which are hindering to increase exports of agriculture goods.

The participants discussed issues of ensuring food security, saturation of internal market with food and agriculture products, as well as exports of fruits and vegetables.

It was stated that over 160,000 farms operate in Uzbekistan, of which 36 are large multi-profile farms. These 36 farms produce agriculture products and introduce new technologies, launching small production capacities.

The participants also discussed information on preferences and tax holidays, provided to farms. They also shared their opinion and recommendations on eliminating existing problems in the sphere.
