Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – President of Uzbekistan signed a decree on measures to further improve the regulation of the production and sale of certain types of products subject to excise tax.
In accordance with the Decree, from 15 August 2019, the excise tax rate on the sale of compressed gas to the final consumer increased by 20 percent.
From 1 October 2019, the excise tax rate on alcohol products increased by an average of 10 percent, on tobacco products — by 20 percent.
Also, the validity period of previously issued licenses for the production of alcohol and alcohol products until 1 January 2020 has been extended.
