The Russian company said that the contract cost is US$128 million. The plant will be constructed on the bases of Ahangarancement.
According to Eurocement, the capacity of new plant will be 2.4 million tonnes of cement a year. It is planned that new plant will be commissioned in 2016.
The contract envisages supply of full set of equipment for construction of new plant on production of cement in dry method. In particular, Chinese company will supply mechanic equipment, firing facilities, cyclone heat exchanger facilities, crushers, mills, electronic and automatic equipment, etc.
Within the project it is planned to use modern cement production technologies. In the result of introduction of energy saving technologies, the capacities of the plant will grow twice and impact to environment will decrease 2.5 times.
President of Eurocement Group Mikhail Skorohod said that transfer to new technologic platform will be carried out without stopping current production lines. Implementation of programme on construction of new plant on production of cement on dry method will improve ecologic situation in the region.
He said that new plant will produce high-quality cement, which will be used to construction of important state objects and infrastructure in Uzbekistan.
