Euro-2012: England plays draw with France

England and France opened their Euro-2012 campaign with a 1-1 draw in Group D match at the Donbass Arena in Donetsk.
England opened the score in the 30th minute. Manchester City central defender Joleon Lescott headed the goal to the net after pass of Steven Gerrard from free-kick.
After nine minutes Manchester City’s midfielder Samir Nasri scored an equalizer from long-distance shot.
France dominated in the match, but England defended well to keep the score in the match.
