EU delegation holds talks at MFERIT
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A meeting with the delegation of the European Union Commission and the European External Action Service (EEAS) headed by Mr. Jean-Claude Buaden was held at the Ministry for Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan (MFERIT).
The aim of the meeting was the discussion of priority directions of the progressive cooperation between Uzbekistan and European Union during 2014-2020 in the sphere of technical assistance (grants) in the framework of Indicative Program with emphasis on rural development of the country.
During the meeting, issues of possible directions for the allocation of grant funds for the implementation of pilot projects in the regions of the republic were discussed.
The Ambassador, head of delegation of the European Union in the Republic of Uzbekistan Yuri Sterk also took part at the meeting.
