EU Ambassador to Visit Termez and Open the 10th European Film Festival in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ambassador of the European Union to Uzbekistan, Toivo Klaar, will visit Termez on 11 November as part of the EU’s efforts to strengthen cooperation with the regions of the country.

During the visit, meetings are planned with Ulugbek Kasimov, Hokim of the Surkhandarya region, and Professor Abduqodir Toshqulov, Rector of Termez State University.

An open dialogue between the Ambassador and university students will also take place.

The key event of the visit will be the official opening of the 10th European Film Festival in Uzbekistan, which for the first time will also be held in Termez.

The festival aims to promote cultural exchange, foster dialogue, and expand humanitarian cooperation between Europe and Uzbekistan.
