EPSILON continues successful development of investment blocks

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 5 May 2019, after completion of the overhaul, EPSILON received industrial flow of gas from two wells, Shimoliy Girsan -1 and Chigil - 4, located in the Kultak-Kamachinsky investment block.

The company currently is completing overhaul of Shimoliy Girsan - 2.

In addition to the work on the restoration of wells in the Kultak-Kamashinsky block, 5 new wells are being drilled and 3 more new wells are being prepared for drilling. A 3D seismic survey has been launched on the Surkhan block in an area of 200 square km.

The company is dislocating two drilling rigs to to the Surkhan and Mubarek investment blocks to start drilling.

Field work is underway to prepare sites for the installation of drilling equipment. At the same time, road works are carried out and places for storing drilling tools and consumables are determined.

At present, the company conducts industrial production of natural gas at 6 wells from Talimarzhan, Khujum, Shimoliya Girsan, Chigil fields with its transportation to Shurtanneftegaz through four newly built gas pipelines with a total length of 26.4 km.

As of 6 May 2019, 928 engineering and labor personnel were employed.
