In the reporting period, the Uzbek companies produced 1.812 million tonnes of cement, which rose by 6.8% year-on-year.
Production of construction glass rose by 3.4% year-on-year in January-March 2016 to 1.897 million square meters and gypsum board – by 19.8% to 5.571 million square meters.
The industry’s enterprises increased production of gypsum-based mortars by 44.7% to 11,200 tonnes, lime - 11.2 times to 5,100 tonnes and construction of gypsum - 10.6% to 11,100 tonnnes.
