Enterprises of FEZ Angren produce goods for 929bn soums in 2016

According to the Directorate of the FEZ “Angren”, the export of products with high added value made up US$13 million, growing by almost 1.9 times.

Currently, the enterprises of the zone produce over 20 types of various products, such as copper pipe, LED-lamps, sugar, modern and facing materials, plastic materials, products for furniture, processed leather, etc.

During its operation, 17 projects with total cost of US$225.3 million were implemented in FEZ “Angren”, including foreign direct investments for US$158 million from such countries as China, Korea, Austria, Singapore, Russia, Great Britain and Bulgaria.

In January-December 2016, FEZ “Angren” used investment for US$56.7 million, which rose by 6.1% compared to the same period of 2015.

During 2016, seven new production capacities with total cost of US$43.5 million were commissioned. The volume of foreign direct investments made up US$24.1 million.
