Emilio Ratmir Lozada García becomes Cuban envoy to Uzbekistan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that the Ambassador handed over credentials, addressed to the President of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the sides considered actual issues of the Uzbek-Cuban relations. They also exchanged opinion on perspective directions of developing cooperation in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and other areas.

At the meeting, it was noted mutual interest in implementation of joint projects in such areas as biotechnology, production of vaccines, and medical products.

The sides also considered some international issues.
