Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan has issued an official statement regarding the fire that broke out during the night of June 10 at the Amirsoy ski resort in Tashkent region. According to the ministry, no casualties have been reported as a result of the incident.

The emergency services received the fire alert at 01:32 AM. The fire originated in a restaurant building located in the “Chimgan” mahalla of Bostanlyk district. Reports indicate that the structure was built mostly from wood, which contributed to the rapid spread of the flames.

Five fire and rescue units were dispatched to the scene and responded promptly. The fire was localized by 02:13 and fully extinguished by 04:20.

The blaze destroyed the roof, inter-floor structures, interior spaces, and equipment of the restaurant. The total area affected by the fire is estimated to be around 300 square meters.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the extent of the material damage.
