Emergency Landing of Flight 9S-3306 in Bahrain Saves Passenger’s Life
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Air Samarkand flight 9S-3306, traveling from Jeddah to Tashkent, made an emergency landing at Bahrain airport due to a medical emergency on board.
According to the airline, an elderly female passenger suffered cardiac arrest during the flight.
The crew, led by Captain Roman Degtev and First Officer Yegor Smirnov, promptly decided to divert to the nearest airport to provide immediate assistance.
Flight attendants, under the supervision of Svetlana Bolkonskaya, supported the passenger until landing.
On the ground, medical personnel continued resuscitation efforts, stabilized her condition, and transferred her to a clinic for further treatment.
After refueling, the aircraft resumed its flight to Tashkent, arriving safely at 9:49 local time with a two-hour delay. The passenger has been wished a speedy recovery.
