Embassy: UFF cancels friendly match between Uzbekistan and Turkey

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Football Federation (UFF) cancelled a friendly match between national teams of Turkey and Uzbekistan, the press release of the Embassy of Turkey in Tashkent said.

The release said that the friendly match between Uzbekistan and Turkey, scheduled for 14 August 2013, was cancelled by the Uzbekistan Football Federation. The UFF sent a letter on abolishment of the match to the Turkish Football Federation on 3 August 2013.

The Embassy stated that the Turkish Football Federation did not make any requests on cancelling the match.

The Uzbekistan Football Federation did not comment on abolishment of the friendly matches between Uzbekistan and Turkey.
