Electricity tariffs to increase from 15 August

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Electricity tariffs will increase in Uzbekistan from 15 August 2019.

Tariffs are rising according to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the change in prices and tariffs for fuel and energy resources” dated 30 July.

From 15 August, the cost of 1 kW / hour of electricity for residential consumers will increase from 250 soums to 295 soums. The growth rate is 18%.

For other categories of consumers, the cost of 1 kW / hour of electricity will be 450 soums.
