Guterrish also expresses his solidarity with the people of Uzbekistan and neighboring Kazakhstan, who suffered from flooding as a result of a dam in Syrdarya region.
According to him, the close interaction between the governments of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to provide assistance to people in need is worthy of recognition.

The following article tells about the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which was held the other day for the first time in the video-conferencing mode at the initiative of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov attended by the heads of the foreign affairs agencies of Armenia, Belarus, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, as well as the CIS Executive Secretary Sergey Lebedev.
It is noted that Uzbekistan considers the Commonwealth as an important platform for deepening multifaceted practical cooperation, especially in the field of developing trade and economic ties, the effective use of transport and transit potential, strengthening security, as well as cultural and humanitarian exchange.
The heads of the foreign affairs agencies of the Commonwealth examined current issues on the international agenda and interaction within the CIS, the state and prospects of increasing the role and place of the organization in international and regional affairs, and also discussed a number of organizational issues.
Special attention was paid to strengthening dialogue between the foreign affairs agencies in the field of security and stability in the CIS, as well as further development of cooperation in the fields of investment, transport, innovation, culture, sports and youth policy.
The necessity of enhancing interaction on the basis of good neighborliness, mutual respect and consideration of interests in order to improve the welfare and quality of life of the peoples of the CIS member states was emphasized.
Following the meeting, a number of documents were signed providing for the further development of multifaceted cooperation.
