Egyptian Company Blanco Explores Launching Non-Alcoholic Beverage Production in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held in Cairo with executives of the Egyptian company Blanco, Tahir Battikh and Kinan Dadihi, attended by representatives of business circles from Uzbekistan and Egypt, the “Dunyo” news agency reports.
The parties discussed prospects for organizing the production of import-substituting non-alcoholic beverages in Uzbekistan, as well as exporting the finished products to markets in Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
Blanco is a notable player in the Egyptian non-alcoholic beverage market, producing drinks based on barley and fruits. Its products are sold through major retail chains, online platforms, and actively promoted on social media.
It was noted that collaboration with Uzbekistan offers Blanco new opportunities to enter international markets, while for Uzbekistan, the partnership creates potential for developing domestic production and increasing exports.
Following the discussions, an agreement was reached for Egyptian entrepreneurs to participate in the Uzbek Import Fair 2025, which will be held in Tashkent from 7 to 9 October.
