Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 October, the Uzcharmsanoat Association hosted a meeting with the first secretary of the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Uzbekistan, Mohamed Khalid Fekriy.

The representative of the diplomatic mission noted that the country has created great opportunities for foreign investors, and that their rights and interests are guaranteed by law. Interested in such successes, Egyptian investors also plan to invest in the leather and footwear industry of Uzbekistan, the Egyptian diplomat noted.

At the meeting, the leadership of the Uzcharmsanoat Association provided detailed information on what preferences the state provides for members of the association.

The parties also discussed the agenda of business meetings with two Egyptian delegations who will visit Uzbekistan in October this year. It should be noted that the composition of the business groups will include the heads of large enterprises and qualified technologists. It is planned to organize B2B contacts with manufacturers of leather and footwear products in our country.

During the current meeting, the expediency of cooperation with the Association in ensuring the implementation of mutually beneficial agreements was noted. Other issues related to the further development of bilateral cooperation were also discussed.

And at the end of the meeting, the First Secretary of the Embassy, Mohamed Khalid Fekriy, invited the leadership of the Uzcharmsanoat Association to Egypt to get acquainted with the activities of the country’s large industrial zone.
