Educational Bridge Between Belarus and Uzbekistan: Forum in Fergana Unites Leading Universities of Both Countries

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Second Educational Forum of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan opened at Fergana State University, focusing on the development of higher and vocational education.

The event brings together about 40 heads of leading Belarusian universities, as well as education specialists from Belarus. The Belarusian delegation is led by First Deputy Minister of Education Aleksandr Bakhanovich, while the Uzbek delegation is headed by First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Sardor Rajabov.

As part of the forum, a ceremonial opening of the Yakub Kolas Auditorium was held at Fergana State University — a symbolic step in strengthening cultural and educational ties between the two countries.

The forum will run from 7 to 8 October. The program includes a plenary session, three breakout sessions, and the signing of several cooperation agreements between universities and educational institutions of Belarus and Uzbekistan.

The event aims to strengthen educational partnerships, promote academic exchange, develop joint educational programs, and expand scientific collaboration between the universities of both nations.
