He said that trustful relations are linking two states. Latvia is a member of the European Union and have opportunities to impact relations with Uzbekistan in this organization.

Latvian official said that the sides have great plans for near future. After political consultations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the countries are planning to hold meeting with heads of some other departments and organizations to discuss many issues of developing bilateral relations.

He said he was impressed with visit to Uzbekistan. Tashkent is very beautiful green city. He expressed hope to visit Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva in future.
