Eczacıbaşı intends to participate in implementation of investment projects in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Alisher Abdualiyev met with President of Eczacıbaşı Turkish company Atalay Gyumrah on 1 April 2019.

During the conversation, opportunities for cooperation in the implementation of projects in the mining industry, in the fields of solar energy, health care, pharmaceuticals and building materials industry with the attraction of foreign direct investment and advanced technologies of the Turkish company were discussed.

During the visit of the Turkish delegation to Uzbekistan, meetings are also planned in the ministries for investment and foreign trade, economics and industry, the State Committee on Geology and Mineral Resources, the Agency for the Development of Public-Private Partnerships under the Ministry of Finance, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and a visit to Samarkand region.

According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ankara, the Eczacıbaşı group, consisting of 42 companies, is one of the largest industrial concerns in Turkey with a total turnover of US$3.1 billion and a staff of 12.5 thousand employees.
