The growth in production of agricultural, forestry and fisheries products reached 3.5% in the reporting period - to 46.19 trillion soums.
In January-September 2017, investment in fixed assets exceeded 39.53 trillion soums, which is 1% more compared to the same period.
The volume of construction works in the reporting period reached 25.17 trillion soums, which is 5.3% higher than in the same period in 2016.
The freight turnover was 65.6 billion tons-km in January-September 2017 or 2.8% higher than the level of the same period in 2016.
Passenger turnover in the reporting period reached 83.3 billion soums, which is 4.9 higher than in the same period in 2016.
Retail trade turnover increased by 4.3% in January-September 2017 - to 76.35 trillion soums. The volume of rendered services in January-September 2017 amounted to 77.25 trillion soums, which is 6.9% higher compared to the same period in 2016.
The foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan grew by 16.6% year-on-year in the first nine months of 2017 to US$19.95 billion. The growth of exports was 25.65% - up to US$10.36 billion and imports by 8.3% - to US$9.59 billion.
The balance of foreign trade totaled US$770.6 million in the reporting period.
