Economy of Bukhara region grows by 8.3% in 1H

In the reporting period, industrial output of the region rose by 10.3%, consumer goods production – 13.8%, agriculture products – 6.5%, construction works – 12.4%, retail trade turnover – 15.2% and services – 15.1%.

The share of small businesses in gross regional product reached 59.5%, industry - 47.2%, agriculture - 97.7%, construction - 70.4%, and the field of employment - 78.2%.

Within the State programme “Year of Healthy Mother and Child”, funds for 222 billion soums and US$3.5 million were used due to all sources of financing.
