Economic courts allowed to hold sessions in video conference regime

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Law “On introduction of changes and amendments, as well abolishment of some legislative acts of Uzbekistan” from 14 May 2014 introduced changes to Economic Procedural Code of Uzbekistan.

From 1 September 2014, the Economic Courts in Uzbekistan can hold sessions in video conference regime. It is banned to hold closed sessions in video conference regime at the same time.

The persons, who participate in the case, can participate in court session, which is held in video conference regime, norma.uz reported.

The persons, who have right in participation in the video conference, should be determined and informed by the court.

The protocol of the court should have records that the session was held in video conference regime and include required documents. A the same time, the postal expenses will be replaced with expenses, spent to video conference at the payment of the state duty.

Economic courts can reschedule consideration of the meeting if there is no opportunity to hold video conference session.
