Earthquake with epicenter in Tajikistan shakes Gulistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4 March, at around 22:13, an earthquake with an epicenter in Tajikistan was felt in Gulistan city of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the epicenter of the earthquake was 143 km south from Tashkent on the territory of Tajikistan. The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter was 4.3.

The strength of the tremors in Gulistan made up 3 points.

Information on destruction and injured was not received, the Ministry of Emergencies of Uzbekistan said.
