Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — An earthquake was recorded in Uzbekistan on 12 April 2026, at 14:54:37 local time.

The epicenter was located in the Kuva District of Ferghana Region, at coordinates 40.55° north latitude and 72.03° east longitude. The magnitude was measured at 3, with a depth of 10 kilometers.

Seismic intensity in Kuva District reached 2–3 points at a distance of 4 kilometers from the epicenter. In Shakhrikhan District, tremors of 2 points were recorded at a distance of 16 kilometers. In Tashlak District, shaking reached 2 points at 18 kilometers, while in Bustan District and Asaka District, tremors of 2 points were recorded at distances of 19 and 20 kilometers respectively.

The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent was approximately 249 kilometers to the northwest.

According to available data, there have been no reports of casualties or damage.
