Earthquake Recorded in Tajikistan, Tremors Felt in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 5 November at 10:58 a.m. Tashkent time, an earthquake occurred in the Sughd region of the Republic of Tajikistan. The earthquake had a magnitude of 4.3, with a depth of 12 km.
According to seismic services, the tremors reached a strength of 5 points at the epicenter.
In Uzbekistan, the earthquake was felt with lesser intensity:
Syrdarya Region — 2–3 points, approximately 54 km from the epicenter.
The distance to Tashkent is about 133 km southwest of the city.
Epicenter coordinates: 40.07° N latitude, 69.08° E longitude.
