Earthquake in Kyrgyzstan shakes Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 16 July 2019, at 15:45 Tashkent time, an earthquake occurred in Kyrgyzstan, the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.

The magnitude was 4.5. The epicenter distance from Tashkent was 209 km in the south-east direction.

The strength of earthquake in Namangan was 2 points, Andijan - 2 points, Fergana - 3 points and Tashkent - 2 points.

In other regions of Uzbekistan, seismic activity was not felt. Information about the destruction and injuries have been reported.
