Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 August 2018, an earthquake with an epicenter in Kyrgyzstan was registered in Uzbekistan at 22:17, the Republican Center for Seismic-Prognostic Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergencies.

The epicenter of the earthquake was in the territory of Kyrgyzstan at a distance of 270 km from Tashkent in a north-east direction. The magnitude in the epicenter was 5.

The strength of the tremors in Tashkent was 2 points, Gulistan - 2 points, Ferghana – 2.5-3 points, Andijan and Namangan – 4 points.
