Earthquake in Kyrgyzstan Felt in Ferghana and Andijan Regions
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On Monday evening, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 was recorded in Osh Region of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to seismologists, the tremors occurred at 22:59 Tashkent time at a depth of 15 kilometers. The epicenter was located in Osh Region (coordinates: 39.81°N, 72.79°E).
The intensity of the quake at the epicenter reached 5 points. In Uzbekistan, the earthquake was felt only mildly: up to 2 points in Ferghana Region at a distance of 107 km from the epicenter, and up to 2 points in Andijan Region at a distance of 119 km.
The distance from the epicenter to Tashkent was 343 km southeast.
