Earlier convicted citizen of Yashnabad district detained for robbery

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 February, 53-year-old citizen appealed to the internal affairs agencies of Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent with a statement that on 21 January, at about 2:00 pm, near the school number 148 located in Turon makhalla, an unknown person pulled out gold earrings from her ears and disappeared.

As a result of operational measures, a previously convicted citizen, who lives in Yashnabad district, was detained.

A criminal case under article "Robbery" was opened and the case is under investigation.
