During the weekend, the movement of vehicles and non-route taxis to be completely stopped

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Quarantine restrictions introduced in Uzbekistan have been extended until 15 August 2020. On 31 July, 1-2 August and 8-9 August (on Saturdays and Sundays), the movement of vehicles and non-route taxis will be completely stopped throughout the republic.

At the same time, it was determined that in cases of emergency medical care (pregnancy, childbirth, trauma, HIV / AIDS, cancer, radiation therapy, hemodialysis, passing tests and blood, performing operations and other situations that threaten human health and life) for personal vehicles traveling to and from a medical facility do not require special permits. In this regard, officials were instructed not to interfere with the movement of vehicles in these cases, as well as to provide practical assistance in transporting citizens to their destination.

This limitation does not apply to vehicles that have special permits (sticker), and vehicles that do not require special permits in accordance with the decision of a special republican commission from 8 July 2020.

In connection with the deterioration of the epidemiological situation in the country in order to interrupt the chain of infection among the population, and also taking into account the recommendations of epidemiologists, on 31 July, 1-2 August and 8-9 August (on Saturdays and Sundays), it is recommended:

citizens - strictly observe the "self-isolation" regime and stay at home;

government agencies, institutions, business associations and other organizations - not to involve employees in work and create conditions for them to stay at home.
