Drone Show to Celebrate Uzbekistan’s State Flag Day in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Today, on 18 November, the capital will host a drone light show in honor of the 34th anniversary of the adoption of the State Flag of Uzbekistan.

The festive performance is scheduled to begin at 18:00 at the “Friendship of Peoples” Square. Hundreds of drones will take to the sky, creating light installations and dynamic formations. The main displays are expected to highlight national symbols and themes of national identity.

Prior to the drone show, a gala concert will be held at the same square at 17:00.

Earlier in the day, the city will host a ceremonial flag relay featuring prominent athletes, public figures, and youth. The route includes three stops:

— 14:00 — starting at the “Rohat” post in Bektemir District;
— 15:00 — “New Uzbekistan” Park in Mirzo-Ulugbek District;
— 16:00 — concluding at the “Erkin” post in Chilanzar District.

All festive events are open to the public.
