Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On the Yunusabad line in the right tunnel, tunneling works were completed and docking with the existing Shakhristan station took place.

Ahead is the laying of engineering and communication systems, the docking of the existing Shakhristan station complex and those under construction - Turkistan and Yunusabad, as well as the laying of the rail-sleeper grid.

In total, more than 90% of the total workload has been completed to date. Construction is being carried out in accordance with the designated schedule, and before the end of this year, the train is expected to be launched in test mode to the "Turkistan" station.

In operating mode, the launch of trains and the transportation of passengers is expected in 2020.
