Draft law “On public procurement” developed

According to the draft law, public procurement is purchase of goods, works and services by the customers fully or partially due to resources of budgets of budjet systems and other funds, as well external loans and foreign grants.

The main foal of the state policy in public procurement is to form favourable environment to all entities and preventing corruption and other legislations at public procurement for execution of the state programme, social tasks, etc.

During the public procurement, it is planned to take into account priorities of social-economic policy, including support of local producers, creation of high technologic production capacities, etc.

The draft law includes norms, which regulate rights and liabilities of candidates, vendors and intermediary. The document also determines public procurement processes.

In order to ensure access to information on public procurement, a special information portal will be used.
