Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The National Chamber of Innovative Healthcare of the Republic of Uzbekistan has begun receiving proposals from doctors, who want to apply their experience and professionalism in the fight against coronavirus infection. This was reported by the press service of the National Chamber of Innovative Health of Uzbekistan.

In order to help such volunteers submit their proposals, the National Chamber today, on 27 March, organized a special telegram channel “National Chamber COVID-19” (https://t.me/uzhealth_covid2019).

By subscribing to this telegram channel, health professionals (doctors, nurses, laboratory assistants) who want to directly participate in the work to counteract the spread of coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan will be able to leave their contact details.

On 26 March, a resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On additional measures to support medical workers and employees of the sanitary-epidemiological service involved in countering the spread of coronavirus infection” was adopted.

According to the v, workers involved in countering the spread of coronavirus can rely on material support.

Personnel contacting infected with coronavirus infection at patient accommodation facilities and laboratories during quarantine (including March 2020) for each 14 days of work will be paid (excluding taxes):

medical personnel, laboratory assistants - 25 million soums;

to the average medical staff, nurses - laboratory assistants - 15 million soums;

junior medical staff - 10 million soums;

to other employees (their list will be approved by the Anti-Crisis Commission) - 5 million soums.
