Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Law on Administrative Liability Code is supplemented by an article providing for a simplified procedure for the execution of a fine.

According to this, in case of voluntary payment by the offender of 70 percent of the fine within 15 days from the date of delivery of the decision on imposition of the fine, he is exempted from paying the remaining amount of the fine.

The simplified procedure does not apply in cases:

- imposition of a fine by the court for an administrative offense;

- appeal or protest against the decision to impose a fine;

- repeated commission of the same offense within 1 year after the application of administrative penalties.

The law comes into force on the day of its official publication.
