Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry Discusses Tashkent Pharma Cluster with UNESCO

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Abdulla Azizov, Director of the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry, held a meeting with representatives of UNESCO.

During the meeting, participants were briefed on the Tashkent Pharma Park pharmaceutical cluster project, as well as the reforms and innovations being implemented within its framework.

UNESCO representatives shared information on transformations in Uzbekistan’s education system, discussed existing challenges and potential solutions, and reviewed observed trends and current innovations in the activities of technical colleges.

The discussion also covered initiatives aimed at improving workforce training for the pharmaceutical industry, adapting educational programs to meet modern requirements, and enhancing the quality of education in the sector.
