Diplomats of Uzbekistan and Oman discuss completion of construction of library in Tashkent

Issues related to completion of the library was discussed during the visit of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Oman Mohamed Said Mohamed Al Lawati to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

It is should be recalled that Oman allocated a grant for US$15 million for construction of the library building of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after Abu Rayhon Beruni of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan.

Oman provided resources to construction and installation works of the library building.
