Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In the context of the coronavirus pandemic, the organization of remote and remote work is becoming increasingly important for the population and enterprises. The Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 522 of 25 June 2019 stipulated that the formation, storage and maintenance of electronic invoices from January 1, 2020 is mandatory. The revised Article 47 of the Tax Code stipulates that invoices are issued by legal entities and individual entrepreneurs when selling goods (services) in electronic form in the electronic invoice information system.
Accordingly, from 1 January 2020, all business entities, when selling and purchasing goods (services), are required to issue and accept invoices in electronic form.
Today in the republic there are 16 operators of electronic invoices. Recall that the ESF operator soliqservis.uz extended until 1 May a free service period. Taxpayers are free to choose an ESF operator of their own free will.
Strict observance of quarantine measures and awareness of citizens of their responsibility for the health of others will help to avoid the massive spread of infection. This is facilitated by the use of electronic invoices, contracts and powers of attorney executed in electronic form.
