Development of farmers’ movement is one of main goals of UzLiDeP

Namangan regional Council of Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP) and regional Council of Farmers held a roundtable “Opportunities of organization of multiple-discipline farms and further speeding up production of industrial goods” was held in Turakurgan district.
At the meeting, the participants discussed development of multiple-discipline farms in Uzbekistan and execution of food programme.
It was noted that reforms in agriculture sector helped farmers to achieve significant results. In particular, the farmers collected over 8 million tonnes of grain this year.
The region handed over 1,017 unused premises to small businesses to help to develop their activities, while commercial banks directed 195 billion soums to support small and private entrepreneurship.
UzLiDeP members underlined that despite achievements in the sphere, there are actual tasks for further developing small and private entrepreneurship. It was underlined that regional and district Councils of the party should boost their activities in this direction.
