Development and implementation of a consistent investment and export development strategy for Pskent district considered

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Pursuant to the instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on 4 June, the leadership and senior officials of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade left for Pskent district of Tashkent region to organize work to assist the district leadership in developing and implementing a comprehensive development program area, bearing in mind the development of industry, agriculture, services, infrastructure and social services.

During the meeting, in the district khokimiyat, topical problems of the district were highlighted, requiring urgent study and ways to solve them were proposed. An order was accepted for execution on the development and implementation of a consistent investment and export strategy for the development of Pskent district, ensuring the timely achievement of the planned indicators.

Following the meeting, a range of tasks was identified in the short and medium term with personal responsibility for the managers and staff of the ministry and local authorities.

Responsibilities were given specific instructions so that already in 2019, the population of the region felt positive changes in their lives, a change in the appearance of settlements, a radical increase in the number of jobs, and the implementation of five initiatives by the President.
