Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An international scientific and practical conference “Actual problems of oil and gas geology and innovative methods and technologies for developing the hydrocarbon potential of the subsoil” is being held in Tashkent on 10 October 2019.

It is organized by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Institute of Geology and Exploration of Oil and Gas Fields of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

Representatives of countries such as Canada, the USA, France, Great Britain, Germany, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and others, as well as scientists and specialists from various departments of Uzbekneftegaz and other organizations took part in the scientific forum.

During the implementation of the fundamental reform of the oil and gas sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan, large-scale tasks were set to conduct exploration work on promising investment blocks of the republic, introduce modern technologies in the processes of liquid hydrocarbon production, and develop new oil and gas fields.

In the field of oil and gas production, Uzbekistan today is actively mastering the most advanced innovative methods and technologies, drawing on the experience of recognized international companies in the field.

In this regard, the holding of this international scientific and practical conference is important for discussing the prospects of introducing the next promising oil and gas production technologies in the country, which have successfully proved themselves in different countries, and exchanging practical experience between specialists from Uzbekistan and foreign countries.
