Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia visits branches of Russian universities in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) –– On 9 September, Co-Chair of the Comprehensive Commission on Science and Education of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation, M. Borovskaya arrived in Uzbekistan.

During the visit, a delegation led by M. Borovskaya visited the Almalyk branch of the MISiS Research Technological University in Almalyk. The guests were familiarized with the educational and research activities of the branch and the conditions for the full leisure of students. Training laboratories and classrooms leave a good impression on the members of the delegation.

During the conversation with students and teachers, an exchange of views took place on improving the efficiency of the educational process, enriching educational laboratories and information libraries.

Cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation in the field of higher education is expanding.

On 10 September, the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Science and Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation was held with the participation of the Ministers of Higher and Secondary Special Education Inom Majidov and the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation M. Borovskaya.
