Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 June 2020, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Asadov held a telephone conversation with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Martin Tlapa.
During the conversation, an exchange of views on the state and prospects of Uzbek-Czech relations in the political, trade and economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other fields took place.
The schedule and organizational aspects of preparation for the upcoming joint events at various levels are considered.
The parties expressed interest in expanding trade and economic ties between Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic, implementing joint projects involving Czech investments and technologies.
The importance of strengthening the legal framework of bilateral cooperation was noted.
The deputy foreign ministers discussed issues of interaction between the two countries within the framework of international organizations and structures.
At the negotiations, the parties also considered other issues of mutual interest.
