Deputy director of orphanage in Margilan is sentenced to 16 years in jail

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ferghana Regional Criminal Court sentenced Sobirjon Usmanov, deputy director of the Orphanage House No. 1 in Margilan, to 16 years in prison, UzA reported.

Usmanov was found guilty of committing a crime under article 119, paragraph 3 (a), of the Uzbek Criminal Code (forcibly satisfying sexual needs in an unnatural manner committed against a person known to be guilty under the age of 18).

Another figurant of the case K. Kadirov was sentenced to 15 years and 6 months in prison. He was found guilty of committing an offense under Part 4 of Article 119 and other articles of the Criminal Code (violent satisfaction of sexual needs in an unnatural manner committed against a person known to be guilty under 14 years of age).
