Deputy Director General of UzAtom Agency appointed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A deputy director general of the Agency for Development of Nuclear Energy under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan was appointed.

According to the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan, Bahram Mansurov became deputy general director of the UzAtom Agency.

Prior to this appointment, he held the post of deputy head of the main department of Uzbekneftegaz.

On 19 July 2019, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On measures to develop nuclear energy in the Republic of Uzbekistan”. According to the document, the Agency for Development of Nuclear Energy under the Cabinet of Ministers was established in Uzbekistan.
