Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan approved the candidacy of Sardor Umurzakov for the position of Deputy Prime Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations.

On the proposal of the Prime Minister, a decision was made to approve Sardor Umurzakov as Deputy Prime Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations - Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade.

This decision was sent to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev for consideration.

Sardor Uktamovich Umurzakov, has been the Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan since January 2019. Prior to that, he served as chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat Association.
