Deported Fraud Suspect Shahista Mullaevа Returned from Türkiye to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As a result of joint investigative and operational measures carried out by the Ministries of Internal Affairs of Türkiye and Uzbekistan, Shahista Rajapovna Mullaevа, who had been internationally wanted on fraud charges, was deported to Tashkent, the Uzbek Interior Ministry reported.

The ministry urged citizens affected by her actions to contact the central office of the Interior Ministry, its regional branches, or the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul.

In addition, within the framework of cooperation between law enforcement agencies, two other wanted individuals — Kh. Barotov and S. Kholov — were detained and handed over to Uzbek investigative authorities. They are accused of tax evasion, failure to pay fees, and violations of customs regulations.
