Denis Istomin claims Samarkand Challenger title

Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin won tennis tournament of ATP Challenger Series in Samarkand city last week.
Top seeded player Denis Istomin defeated Michail Elgin (6/3, 6/4), Mikhail Ledovskikh (6/3, 6/4), Radu Albot (6/3, 7/5) and Gerald Melzer (7/5, 7/5) on his way to final.
In the final match, Denis Istomin faced Malek Jaziri of Tunisia. Istomin claimed the first set with the score 7/6. Jaziri retired in the beginning of the second set.
This is the first victory of Denis Istomin in ATP competitions this year. Istomin claimed US$5,000 and 80 ATP points.
